ELECTION NEWS: Two commission races set in Madeira Beach

MADEIRA BEACH – Longtime city commissioners Terry Lister and Nancy Hodges will face opposition from two political newcomers as they seek new terms in the March 13 municipal election.

Lister, the longest serving member of the current commission, is being challenged by Deby Weinstein, an activist in civic affairs. Hodges, running for a fourth term on the commission, faces Eric Breslin, who is new to the city’s politics and civic activities.
