PUBLIC MEET AND GREET FOR INCOMING CITY MANAGER JONATHAN EVANS.

 The City of Madeira Beach is pleased to announce that Jonathan Evans MPA, MBA, ICMA-CM will soon be seated in the City Manager’s office. The City Commission would like to request the presence of residents, local business owners, and community partners to join them for a meet and greet on Monday, February 12 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall (300 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach, FL 33708).

Evans most recently served as the City Manager in Riviera Beach and has experience in Pinellas County as the Assistant City Manager and Public Information Officer for the City of Largo. Evans holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida, as well as an MBA from Saint Leo University.

The incoming City Manager has issued a 100 day plan which outlines his commitment to communication, organization, and hard work. This plan is now available to the public at madeirabeachfl.gov/office-of-the-city-manager/. Evans intends on moving toward these successes through genuine, open and honest relationships. 

He will also be in attendance the following evening for the scheduled regular Board of Commission meeting on Tuesday, February 13th beginning at 6:00 p.m. Evans intends on beginning his duties with the City no later than February 26th.
